Piaget is widely considered to be among the most prestigious and desirable luxury watch brands in the entire world. There is a unique history hiding behind the glitz and glamour of its luxury timepieces. This history is marked by an unwavering commitment to accuracy, aesthetics, and the highest standards of Swiss watchmaking. There are so few of these rare Piaget pieces that it can be difficult for collectors from all over the world to track them down.

"Always do better than necessary."
The narrative of Piaget begins in the sleepy mountain hamlet of Côte-aux-Fées, which is located in the Jura mountains of Switzerland. In the year 1874, Georges Piaget established the "Ateliers de la Côte-aux-Fées" and began producing watches under his own name. He did this with the intention of producing timepieces of a quality that would exceed the expectations of any of his customers. "Always do better than necessary," was Georges-Édouard Piaget's motto, which is quite remarkable. This principle guided the direction of the watch-house throughout the following decades, and in the 1920s, Piaget transitioned from supplying fine precision movements and internal watch components to some of the leading Swiss watchmakers to creating fine luxury timepieces of its own. Today, Piaget is recognised as one of the world's preeminent manufacturers of fine luxury timepieces. At the end of the 19th century, Georges-Édouard Piaget, son of Georges-Édouard Piaget, assumed control of the family business, during which time Piaget luxury timepieces, including wrist watches and pocket watches, began to earn a reputation throughout Europe for both their elegance and their precision.

Expansion :The company was able to acquire greater levels of recognition thanks to the efforts of the second and third generations of the now-famous Piaget family. In 1943, a significant turning point in the history of the company occurs when the grandsons of the company's founder, Gérald and Valentin Piaget, make the decision to seek legal protection for the name Piaget as a trademark on the basis of the company's experience and its level of success up to that point. From that point forward, the house's creations would each bear its own unique signature.

Exceptionally discreet watches
Valentin Piaget designed the ultra-slim manual-winding Calibre 9P in the late 1950s and early 1960s. It has a height of only 2 millimetres. The mechanical hand-wound 9p calibre was the topic of conversation during the Basel Fair, and no one could stop talking about it. The same year also sees the release of the first edition of the Emperador, which is destined to become one of the most well-known models produced by the brand. The 12p was the world's thinnest automatic mechanism watch when it was first introduced in 1960 and it holds that title today. It made Piaget the best-known brand of high-quality men's watches in the world.

The daring of one's fashion sense
In 1963, Valentin Piaget produced the first watches to be made with a dial and to be fashioned of decorative stone. These watches were a significant step forward in the watch industry. Piaget's history may have begun with the production of luxury clocks for men; nevertheless, towards the latter half of the 20th century, the brand saw a rise in popularity among female consumers. Luxury timepieces made by Piaget were favoured by a wide range of influential women throughout history, including Sophia Loren, Elizabeth Taylor, and Jacqueline Kennedy. As a result of the amount of prominence and prestige that it had achieved, Piaget was inspired to expand further into the domain of cutting-edge design and to embrace its image as an original artistic brand. In 1967, Piaget and the artist Salvador Dali began working together on a unique project, which would eventually lead to years of collaboration with other remarkable artists.

For the biopic Jackie, which was released in 2016, Piaget provided Natalie Portman with the original watch from their private museum collection so that she might wear it in the film.

Salvador Dali and Piaget :In 1988, Piaget became a part of the Cartier Monde group, while Yves Piaget continued to serve as the company's President. Piaget and Cartier both joined the Vendôme Luxury Group in 1993, which later merged into the Richemont Group. Piaget is currently a part of the Richemont Group.

The Society of Jean Piaget
There were not many projects in which Olivia Palermo was involved. For the third collaboration, Olivia experimented with colours, accumulations, rose gold jewellery, and watch mix and match, and the resulting image, which was taken by Sebastian Kim in Dubai, portrays the legendary luxury collection in a way that is both seamless and compelling.

Approximately sixty years ago, Piaget was among the very first foreign jewellers to set up shop in the Middle East region. At all times, women are honored, and various expressions of appreciation are made. A mesmerizing new advertisement for the holy month of Ramadan has been released by the prestigious jewellery and watch brand, which features a number of well-known faces. Piaget's Ramadan campaign marks the first time the Swiss watchmaker has worked with a star from the region in the Middle East. Balqees Fathi, an Emirati musician, is demonstrating numerous Piaget ideals in a series that is broken up into three parts. These values include daring, self-surpassing, shared delight, allure, and freedom. Each of these concepts is obviously conveyed in the episodes.
